Qiyaam, voluntary night prayer, which can be done at any time (even outside Ramadhan), is led in jama’ah in the last 10 days of Ramadhan with a hope of finding laylatulqadr. It is often led by local imams from the surrounding area, or from guest imams who have come over from abroad during this month, including Shaikh Ahmad Rageb of Egypt or Shaikh Harun Bukenya of Uganda.
Every day during the month of Ramadan, the Mosque provide a Daily Iftar before the Maghrib prayer for all that attend the mosque to break their fast with dates and water and thereafter pray in congregation.
